Makes 12-24 cookies depending on the size

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon teaspoon Salt

  • 1 cup of softened butter

  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed

  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 cups semisweet Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl mix together the flour, baking soda and the salt: Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl beat together the butter, sugars, vanilla extract and the vinegar until smooth. Beat in the egg slowly just until combined.

  4. Mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture until just combined. Do not overmix. Stir in the Chocolate chips.

  5. Using an ice-cream scoop or large spoon drop cookie dough about 3 inches apart onto cookie sheet.

  6. Bake for 9-11 minutes, they will look light brown around the edges and will look underdone in the center. The smaller the cookie the less time it will need. Remove from oven and allow to sit on the sheet for atleast 10 minutes before transferring to a rack to cool.
